With learning comes a fear of seeming unintelligent, a fear of failure. Often the source of this fear stems from the structure of education and the programmed methodology in the way we teach. For many of us the way we learn is very different to the way we are taught. This led me to finding my own visual language that enabled learning through my own context, in a way that suited me best.
This series of work sets out to convey this same methodology in allowing complex information and subject matter to be understood through digestible and tangible forms of visual communication.
Using the subject of 'waves' as an example case study, this project explores a series of outcomes using methods of understanding waves through structural, visual and tangible approaches. The overall aim being to create a diverse learning environment that can connect to a wider audience.
