Rebekah Wall is a practicing artist who has worked in the pedagogical industry for 25 years. Having graduated from G.M.I.T with an Ordinary Bachelor Degree in Fine Art she went on to do a Honours Bachelor Degree in Sculpture & contemporary practice and a Masters in Social Practice & Creative Environment from L.S.A.D.
Working in a variety of mediums from her studio in Kerry, Wall's work has been showcased nationally and internationally. The work bears witness to unseen communities linking in with governmental bodies such as the H.S.E, Tusla and the Magdalene Laundries. Wall hopes to pursue a PhD in Fine art creating a platform for the voice of survivors of Irish state institutions and establish a pedagogical archive that can be rolled out nationally.
