Bronwen’s work explores the theme of connections from within the context of the family. She investigates the blurred lines between the connection between family members perceived from an outsider perspective in contrast to the internal perspective.
Her work focuses on the emotional connections to the hereditary and genetic 'unseen' connections that affect the threads and strands of the family tree. Bronwen uses family portraits and pictures of the landscape around her house and inside her house to build a series of organic and figurative images.
She uses watercolour, gouache, ink and photography to build a series of colour and black and white images that explore in depth the emotional connections to the hereditary and genetic unseen connections.
