I am exploring how the bacteria on our body perceives daily information differently by looking into the body and gathering the perspective from a bacterial view and investigating how our bodies process the same piece of information in various ways each time. Many people believe they are trapped in a never-ending cycle of habit, but we are unaware that every time we repeat a regular pattern, our bodies develop a new perspective.
I chose to do an animation that was split into two perspectives. The opening is how our mind comprehends the day - repetitive, boring, a never ending cycle. The second part is our bodies perspective on the day - colourful, expanding and intriguing. The two perspectives are shown by the contrast in the mediums. The starting point is created digitally for a flat effect while the ending point is created traditionally with watercolour. I chose to do it in this way to show the two different perspectives of the same story.
