Love in the Digital Age explores the way in which our social relationships have adapted due to the increasing reliance on digital communication such as dating apps.
Through the use of posters and surveys I gathered a wide variety of opinions on exactly how this generation feels about ‘love’ in this digital age. This resulting publication, entitled Love in the Digital Age (Sucks), uses illustration and type to communicate the different views I have gathered.
In the other body of work, the re-introduction of old fashioned methods of flirting takes inspiration from the Victorian period. This is realised through the creation of my own Victorian escort cards and fans, made contemporary using methods that can be seen on dating apps today.
