'Do more, accomplish more, buy more, be more!' If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands of the increasingly speeding up world, you’re not alone.
Research has shown that those living in the western world are more stressed, anxious, and burnt out than at any other time in history. In fact, the world health organization estimates that by 2030, stress-related mental health conditions will overtake heart disease as the #1 cause of death and disability in the western world. Yet ironically, we are living in the safest, most prosperous period in world history! What’s up?
This project not only aims to explore why this is the case but to figure out practical ways to find real rest and restoration in the chaos of the modern world.
